Round three of the 2024 British GT championship took place at Silverstone over the weekend, the three hour race considered the blue ribband event of the season and famous for its unpredictability.

Gough and Wrigley, competing in the Century Motorsport prepared and Pace Motorsport Finance supported BMW M4, lined up for the race towards the second-half of the grid after mixed fortunes in qualifying. Past form would predict that that last-years vice champions would move forward in the race.

After an outstanding rookie season, the Pace Motorsport Finance backed duo, Tom Wrigley and Ian Gough for a fresh attack on the 2024 British GT championship. But this time, the pairing will be in the impressive BMWM4 GT4 under the banner of Tom Wrigley Performance and Century Motorsport.

After seven rounds of intense competition, the Pace Motorsport Finance backed Pro-Am pairing of Ian Gough and Tom Wrigley finished the 2023 British GT Championship in 3rd overall and 2nd in Pro-Am after an emphatic win at the last round of the championship, at Donington Park.

The much-awaited return of the British-GT season is around the corner, with the spotlight fixed on the upcoming race at Brands Hatch on September 9th and 10th. Turning heads so far with remarkable victories at Oulton Park and Donington, the duo powered by Pace Finance, Ian Gough and Tom Wrigley, are challenging for the overall and Pro-Am GT4 championships.

The Pace Motorsport Finance supported McLaren Artura of Gough and Wrigley started their 2023 assault on The British GT Championship in fine style in difficult conditions this Easter weekend at Oulton Park, leading the overall championship standings in the highly competitive GT4 grid after two dominant class pole positions and a commanding win in the second race of the day, bouncing back from early setbacks in race 1.

Pace Finance backed driver, Ian Gough, has teamed up with The Lions Barber Collective and FastR to campaign a new RACE LAB-run McLaren Artura GT4 in this season’s Intelligent Money British GT Championship.

Returning to action this weekend (11th September) was Pace Finance supported driver, Ian Gough with RaceLab and SVG Motorsport in the hyper competitive twenty nine car field Ginetta GTA Championship, narrowly missing out on a brace of podiums on his championship debut.

Lewis Kent, 2021 TCR Champion, impressed in his Pace Finance supported Hyundai TCR at Goodwood. He conquered the hill in 53.1sec and I think we can all agree, the car looked incredible. Thanks to the Essex and Kent family for their continued support, long standing Pace Finance customers.

Pace Finance backed driver, Ian Gough, made the switch from single seaters to GT racing this weekend (18th June) at the Silverstone in the British Endurance Championship, competing with Race-Lab in their Porsche Cayman GT4 and incredibly, racing to an impressive win on his debut.
